Lifebuoy requirement as per SOLAS
* Inner diameter က 400 mm အောက် မငယ်ရ သလို Outer diameter ကလည်း 800 mm ထက်မကြီး ရပါဘူး
* Lifebuoy ရဲ့ အလေးချိန်က 2.5 Kg အောက် မပေါ့ရသလို MOB Lifebuoy ဆိုရင်တော့ 4.0 Kg ထက် မလေး ရပါဘူး
* Grab line diameter က 9.5 mm အောက်မသေးရသလို Lifebuoy ရဲ့ outer diameter ၄ ဆ အရှည်နဲ့ LB body ရဲ့ 4 equidistant point တွေမှာ secured လုပ်ထားပါတယ်၊Lighted sea going condition ဒါမှမဟုတ် 30 meters (whichever is greater)ကနေပစ်ချရင်လည်း ပျက်ဆီးခြင်းမရှိ operating capacity မှာ ရှိနေရပါမယ်
* ထိုအတူ သင်္ဘော တဖက်တချက်မှာ အနည်းဆုံး buoyant lifeline တပ်ထား Lifebuoy တစ်ခုစီရှိရပါမယ်၊ အရှည်ကတော့ စောစောကပြောထားတဲ့အတိုင်း Lighted sea going condition ဒါမှမဟုတ် 30 meters (whichever is greater) ရဲ့ ၂ဆ ရှိနေရပါမယ်
* သင်္ဘောပေါ်မှာရှိတဲ့ lifebuoy အရေအတွက် အနည်းဆုံးတဝက်လောက်မှာ self igniting light ရှိရမယ့်အပြင် stern မှာတော့ အနည်းဆုံး lifebuoy ၁ ခုရှိရပါမယ်၊ ဒါ့အပြင် အနည်းဆုံး self activating smoke signal ပါတဲ့ lifebuoy ၂ ခုရှိရပါမယ် (ဒါကို bridge wing မှာ တပ်ဆင်ထားပါတယ်၊MOB smoke signal activate ဖြစ်တဲ့အခါမှာ highly visible color ကို uniform rate နဲ့ calm water မှာ အနည်းဆုံး 15 minutes ထုတ်ပေးပါတယ်)
* Lifebuoy များကို permanently secure လုပ်ထားတာ မဟုတ်ပဲ readily available ဖြစ်အောင် open deck တွေမှာ distribute လုပ်ထားရပါမယ်
* Lifebuoy တိုင်းမှာ block capitals of Roman alphabet နဲ့ သင်္ဘောရဲ့ name နဲ့ port of registryကို mark လုပ်ထားရပါမယ်

* Vessel’s length more than 60 metres but less than 120 metres = 12 lifebuoys
* Vessel’s length greater than 120 metres but less than 180 metres = 18 lifebuoys
* Vessel’s length more than 180 metres but less than 240 metres = 24 lifebuoys
