GMDSS ONLOAD,OFFLOAD TEST
ဒီတစ်ခါ တင်ပြချင်တဲ့ Knowledge Round မှာတော့ second officer တစ်ယောက်အနေနဲ့ သိသင့်တဲ့ GMDSS Equipment Battery ရဲ့ on load and off load test စစ်ဆေး ပုံကိုတင်ပြလိုပါတယ်။
သင်္ဘောအများစုမှာ Saturday Routing checkအနေနဲ့ ဘဲ test လုပ်တာများပါတယ်။ETO(or ) 4th Engineer များသာ တာဝန်ယူစစ်ဆေးပါတယ်။(according to company PMS)
Navigation officer များ က လည်းသိရမှာပါ။SOLAS CH 4,Reg 13 မှာဖေါ်ပြထားတဲ့ Reserve Sources of Power , မှာဖော်ပြထားချက်အရ Ship constructed after Feb 1995 , emergency generator power supply မရှိ တဲ့ သင်္ဘောတွေမှာ Black out ဖြစ်သွား ပြီး Battery Powerနဲ့ GMDSS Equipment တွေ တစ်ပြိုင် တည်းအသုံးပြုရင်တောင် 1hr အသုံးပြုနိုင်ရပါမယ်။
Onboard မှာ လက်တွေ့အလုပ်ကိုဘဲရှင်းပြလိုတာကြောင့် Operating Procedure ကိုဘဲ point out လုပ်ပါရစေ။
Off Load : When no equipments are connected, the battery should read 24 Volt or slightly more.
On load: Switch off the AC power,check the voltage of the battery.Press the PTT on MF/HF station on non distress frequency.Voltage will fall depending upon the load.If the voltage falls more than 10% , it indicates that the battery is either week or not change fully.ln this case battery should be recharged.
Off Load ထားပြီးbattery power ကို Volt Meter မှာ စစ်ရင် 24 Volt ,အောက်မရောက်ရပါ။
Main AC power ပိတ်ပြီး On Load မှာ battery power ကို Volt Meter မှာ စစ်မယ်ဆိုရင် MF/HF station ရဲ့ transmission frequency ကို non distress frequency မှာ ထားပြီး PTT button ကို press လုပ်ထားပါ။Volt meter က ပြတဲ့ pointer က 24V ရဲ့10%အောက် မကျရင် On Load test passed ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
On Load test failed ဖြစ်ခဲ့ရင်တော့ Battery Power ကို fully charged ပြန်လုပ်ဘိုလိုပါလိမ့်မယ်။
အရင်ခေတ် Battery တွေမှာလို Acid power density ကို တိုင်းစရာမလိုဘဲ Dry Cell Battery(maintenance free) ဖြစ်လို Visual check ဘဲ လုပ်ရပါတော့တယ်။
ရေကြောင်းမျိုးဆက်သစ်များအားလုံးထွန်းလင်းတောက်ပနိုင်ပါစေ။
